Engraving in this method is done by rolling the piece with the pressure of a hard mandrel on the piece.
Manual roller engraving machine
It should be noted that the parts must be cylindrical and made of metals such as brass, copper, aluminum, steel, iron, cast iron, bronze and compressed plastic. (This method is not recommended for engraving on hardened parts.) The engraving depth can be adjusted from 0.1 to 1 mm depending on the hardness of the part.
The required force can be selected as a manual lever, pneumatic engraving, hydraulic engraving, or electric motor, depending on the size of the mandrel and the type of part.
It should be noted that due to the differences in the shape and dimensions of the parts, a suitable fixture must be made for each part. The engraving of this device is done by a hard mandrel (template), so it cannot engrave serial numbers, and in order to engrave variable inscriptions, a special mandrel must be prepared for that inscription.
